Newcomb College graduate Carol Leake is known for her figurative watercolors and landscape paintings. In this untitled image, Leake depicts an unidentified male nude in watercolor, pen and ink. The drawing offers a record of Leake’s rendering skills, how she builds compositions and works with live models in the studio. Leake teaches at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art, and also curates exhibitions throughout New Orleans.
